How do I enrol my child at your kindergarten?
You can call into the kindergarten to pick up an enrolment form. It is always a good idea to visit the kindergarten before enrolling your child, to meet the teachers, collect relevant information and to ensure that the environment is right for your child.

Morning Session     8.30am – 12.30pm    Monday to Friday
Full Day Session     8.30pm -   2.30pm     Monday to Friday

What happens if I shift house or move to another area?
Always let the kindergarten know any change of address or telephone number. If you are shifting to another area then you may require to transfer to another kindergarten. Talk to the staff and they will arrange a transfer form.

Is it a problem if my child is not immunised?
No. That is your personal choice. We will let you know if there are any Health alerts.

What if I don’t want to come five days per week?
When children first start at our kindergarten they attend initially three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. As a full time position becomes available you will be asked if you would like your child to attend for the five days, you may not want to take this option.

How do you help the children with their transition to school?
The morning session is designed to cater for children’s different learning levels and this also includes their transition to school. Our Full Day programme also supports the children’s transition into school with appropriate activities such as Brain Gym and relevant pre-school activities.

20 FREE HOURS

How do I access the 20 Free hours provided by the Government?
When you start kindergarten you will be asked to sign an attestation form, this verifies that you are eligible to receive the 20 Free hours

If you are not using those 20 Free hours somewhere else and your child is three or four years old then yes you are entitled to receive the 20 Free hours.

Can I use some of these Free hours at other child care services E.g., Barnardo’s Home Care?
You can organise your 20 Free hours in any way that suits your personal circumstances. I.e., you may use some with the kindergarten and some with another agency.

What does the kindergarten charge per hour if I do not wish to use the 20 Free hours at this service?
$3 per hour is the fee.
